Mrs. Emma Kenny, aged 87 years died at the home of her son, Robert Kenny in Covington Wednesday morning. Born Dec 16, 1857, in Warren County, she was the daughter of Elisha and Mary Ann Moudy Rogers. Surviving in addition to the son is one daughter, Mrs. Pearl Bakemeier of Indianapolis and a brother, Peter Rogers of Covington. Funeral services were conducted at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon at the Crumley Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. OW McGaughey of Veedersburg officiating. Burial in the family lot in Rogers Cemetery, Warren County. -1945
